| Malama Elementary School is a complete elementary school with a total land area of 15 823square meters. It is situated at the western point 21 kilometers away from the heart of Ligao City. It was purchased by the Parent Teachers Association in the amount of 280 in 1937. Malama Elementary School in its early years of establishments considering its catchment area were Bacong, and Francia. It has 10 teachers to cater to the needs of five hundred (500) pupils. Later, due to the opening of classes in the nearby barangays, there was a gradual decline in the enrolment and the number of teachers. Nevertheless, the quality of learning was maintained if not increased. At present, Malama Elementary School is still a quality learning center that caters 353 pupils with 10dedicated and efficient teaching personnel headed by a principal, and with adequate learning facilities for an effective, conducive and child friendly learning climate. |
